On Wednesday of our trip we got to visit the Amigos Academy where Amigos for Christ workers teach pre-schoolers all the way up to high schoolers. This school goes above and beyond any other school you might pass in Nicaragua and you can tell all of these kids are so smart and getting an incredible education. We got to go into several different classrooms and then we got to pick to either do kickball, make bracelets, or do arts and crafts with some of the kids. It was cool to learn that all of these kids don’t pay anything to go to the school and are sponsored through donors to Amigos for Christ! I loved getting to try and talk to some of the kids there and getting sweet hugs from them!
